Taken using a vintage Italian Bencini Koroll II half-frame 120 film caera, this series of images taken in Glasgow progress from the clear and well-exposed, to increasingly obscured by light leaking into the camera and shadows cast from the film backing paper. This analogue space, found in-between the 1s and 0s of digital media, begins to reveal the fabric of the medium itself.
about Matt:
Matthew Anderson is a recent graduate of the University of Glasgow Music MA Programme. Living and working in Glasgow, he is interested in visual and sonic arts, particularly in the analogue realm where these exist as physical, tangible objects. Current interests include analogue photography, printmaking, and tape-based sonic work – especially in relation to the built and natural environment.
