4M x The Dear Green Bothy:  sustainability, resilience, stability

In its second call for works, the 4M netlabel is collaborating with The Dear Green Bothy to invite submissions from artists focussed on environmentally conscious practices that investigate the intersection of art, (sometimes) technology and sustainability. We are interested in artists and artworks who recognise the urgency of our current ecological crises and explore, reflect, engage with or attempt to mitigate these crises through their arts practice.

The second release on the label will coincide with a special edition of the GLEAM festival (May 25th and 26th 2023), also featuring environmentally conscious practices, and we are hopeful that some of the work submitted for the call may also be featured in the festival.

As always, we invite the submission of works of audio, audiovisual, photography, poetry, creative writing... any kind of arts-based response to the theme. We aim to offer a diverse and inclusive platform for showcasing the extraordinary array of creativity from across the college, from both staff and students, much of which only gets seen/heard/experienced in the context of assignment submission and/or small-scale sharing events.

To submit a work to the label, please send either the work itself, or a short (c. 300 word) description of it if it is unfinished, to:
